Filter Cleaning

The filter fabric is cleaned without any interruption or fluctuation in the process operations.

At regulated periods each half module (cell) is isolated (taken off stream) from the normal filtering operation by means of electrically operated dampers. Medium pressure air from the reverse air plenum enters the cell and continues into the filter tubes creating a "snap-shock" action resulting in the removal of accumulated dust cake from the filter tubes. The dampers are returned to the normal filtering operation upon completion of cleaning cycle.

The entire cleaning sequence requires only seconds and enables the remaining cells to continue filtering efficiently.
