1. MILL EXHAUST CAPTURE HOODThe Mill Exhaust Capture Hood is specifically designed to efficiently enclose and capture the effluent, particulate and smoke, created at the Auto Shredder Mill Discharge. Specific attention is given to explosion relief capability for this device as well as the Transport Ductwork System leading to the Heavy Duty System Fan. 2. HIGH EFFICIENCY MILL CYCLONE SYSTEMThe high efficiency cyclones are constructed of Mild Steel complete with replaceable (bolt-in) abrasion resistant panels in inlet section to retard wear. An airlock discharge is included as is ductwork complete with explosion relief vents. 3. HEAVY DUTY SYSTEM FANThe Heavy Duty System Fan is designed to develop the capture and transport velocity and static suction pressure as required. The unit is also designed for explosion resistance. 4. HIGH EFFICIENCY SCRUBBERThe High Efficiency Scrubber is of heavy duty design specifically utilized to maintain the capture of particulate to meet EPA and Title V standards at the lowest energy and operations maintenance requirements. The unit is complete with a PEDCON Veri-Clean Spray Nozzle System designed for abrasion resistance, non-plugging and the capability of utilizing high solids content recirculated (non-disposable) scrubbing media at the lowest energy requirements. 5. SMOKE OPACITY DEMISTER SEPARATORThe Smoke Opacity Demister Separator is complete with an Opacity Scrubber Module utilizing a PEDCON Veri-Clean Spray Nozzle System designed for abrasion resistance, non-plugging and the capability of utilizing high solids content recirculated (non-disposable) scrubbing media at the lowest energy requirements. NOTE: Documentation exists that these units have not required replacement after 4 years of typical daily continued operation. As noted above, the unit utilizes our Spray Nozzle System and Non-Disposable Scrubbing Media when combined, have the proven capability to increase effluent contact surface area resulting in the capture, encapsulation and entrapment of sub-micron oil mist (smoke) particles which are removed by our Demister Chamber prior to clean air exhaust to atmosphere. The scrubber media encapsulated particles will drop into the return water outlet for further use and recirculation via a recycling/holding settling tank. |
